CamlooCam About
The site
CamlooCam is a small, single-purpose website for meeting a stranger on camera, one person at a time, straight from your browser. Here is where the name comes from, what the site actually does when you open it, and the few things we chose to keep simple.
No sign-up · Free to start · Video, Audio or Text

We wanted a name that sounds the way the site feels: quick, a bit playful, and easy to say out loud to a friend. CamlooCam starts and ends with the thing you actually use, the camera, and puts something bouncy in the middle.
The name turns up in more than one spelling. On the logo it is one lowercase word with the last three letters in coral. In emails and on this page it is CamlooCam. Some people split it into Camloo Cam when they type it, which works just as well. The logo itself is two linked letters C, one cream and one coral, because every chat here is exactly two people.
The colours came from the same idea. The site is mostly near-black, because people tend to chat late and nobody wants a white screen glaring at them at midnight. Coral marks the things you press. A thin line of cyan shows up around the photos, the way a screen glows in a dark room.
You open the site, tap Start, and the match screen pairs you with someone who is free at that moment. Video is selected by default; Audio and Text sit next to it at the bottom of the same screen. When the two of you hit it off, just stay. If it does not, Next ends it for both of you and the search starts again.
Around that core there are a few more doors. The online list shows who is around right now, and any profile there lets you send a message or call directly. You can follow people so they stay in your list. Typed messages can be turned into the reader’s language on the fly. A Live tab shows girls who are streaming; you can watch, comment, send a gift with coins and ask for a one-on-one from inside the stream.
Short clips sit in their own feed as well, for the evenings when you would rather scroll for a while before talking to anyone. Every face in that feed has a profile you can open, so watching can turn into a message whenever you like.
There is no form to fill in before your first chat. You arrive as a guest, and adding a photo or changing your display name is optional. The how it works page shows every one of those screens in order.
The match screen opens with Video selected.
Camera, voice or text, whichever suits the moment.
Move on in one tap, or follow her to find her again.
Most of the decisions behind CamlooCam were about keeping the path short. Every screen we did not add is one less step between you and an actual conversation, and one less place for things to go wrong.
Coins exist because the site costs money to run. Newcomers start with free matches, and coins cover matches after that, plus gifts, among other things. The coins page lays out how it fits together.
People from more than 50 countries use CamlooCam, and roughly one in five of them is in the US. Most of the people you will meet on the other side are girls, chatting from home in the evening, on a break at work, or on a slow Sunday when nobody feels like going out.
On your side it is usually somebody in a similar mood: curious, a little bored, open to a conversation that was not planned. Some come back every night for the same few people they follow. Others drop in once a month for twenty minutes of random cam chat and leave it at that. Both are exactly what the site is for.
Language is rarely the wall people expect. Plenty of chats happen in English with an accent on both ends, and when typing feels easier, text messages translate automatically so each side reads the other in their own language. Slow down, keep sentences short, and a lot more gets through than you would think.
Yes. It is simply the short name most people use for CamlooCam, the same way friends shorten a long first name. Same address, same match screen, same people online. Typing the full name or the short one in a search should lead you to camloocam.com either way.
We do not mind which one you use. The long version is on the logo and in the address bar; the short version is what people actually say when they recommend it.
Every chat has a way out built in: Next to leave, block for anyone you never want to deal with again, and report so the account goes on record. Reports are how accounts that break the rules get found, and those accounts can be restricted or removed.
We would rather you never need any of that, so the site nudges in the same direction: guest entry means you never hand over an email to a stranger, profiles carry a display name rather than a real one, and moving on is always one tap. The rest of the advice lives in the safety guide linked from every page footer.
For anything that needs a real reply, such as a coin purchase that did not arrive or a camera that will not start, write to us. The contact page explains what to include so the first answer can actually fix it, and the CamlooCam home page is the quickest way back to a match.

About us
It is free to start, with free matches for newcomers. The coins page covers the Reward Center and what coins pay for after that.
You start as a guest as soon as the page loads. A profile photo and display name are optional, and you can add them later if you come back often.
It runs in the browser on iPhone and Android, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens full screen like an app.
That is not available on user accounts. Users watch, comment, send gifts and ask for a one-on-one from inside a stream instead.
Email [email protected]. Include your display name and a short description of the problem, plus screenshots if something on screen looks wrong.
