CamlooCam Privacy Policy
CamlooCam pairs you with strangers on camera, by voice or in text, and that cannot happen without handling some information about you and your device. This policy sets out what that information is, the reasons we use it, who else is involved, how long it stays around and what you can ask us to do about it. Send any question to [email protected].

This policy applies to camloocam.com in any browser and to the shortcut you can add to your phone’s home screen. It covers guests who leave after one match as much as regular users who follow a dozen people. It applies from the moment the site loads, since a guest session is set up before you tap Start.
In this policy, “CamlooCam”, “we” and “us” refer to the operators of camloocam.com. “You” refers to the person using the site on a particular device. Where this policy and the Terms of Service cover the same topic, they are meant to be read together.
Most of what we hold about you is information you choose to put on the site. A guest session starts with an automatically created profile; anything you add to it after that is your decision.
Some information exists because the service is running. When you are matched, the system records that a match happened, which mode it was in and when it ended. Follows, blocks and the list of people you have chatted with are stored so those features keep working the next time you visit.
Your camera and microphone are only switched on after your browser asks you and you agree. Audio and video travel between you and the person you are talking to so the chat can take place. Device information such as the browser type, operating system, language setting, approximate region based on your IP address and basic error logs is collected to keep the site stable, load it in the right language and spot abuse.
CamlooCam does not sell personal information to anyone. A small number of service providers handle parts of it on our behalf: hosting and content delivery companies that store and serve the site, payment processors that take card or wallet payments for coins, translation services that turn one language into another, and analytics tools that tell us which pages load slowly or where errors happen.
Payment processors receive the payment details you enter with them; we receive confirmation that a payment went through and what was bought, not your full card number. We may also share information when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect someone’s safety or our rights.
We keep information while your profile is active and for as long afterwards as we need it for the purposes above, such as handling a late payment question, finishing a report or meeting legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, it is deleted or stripped of anything that identifies you.
Information tied to a report or to a breach of the rules may be kept longer, because it may be needed if the same person returns under another account.
You can change your display name and photo at any time, stop following people, block accounts and turn your camera off by switching to Audio or Text. You can also ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your profile. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
To make a request, email [email protected] from an address you can reply from and include your display name. We may ask a question to confirm the profile belongs to you before acting on it.
The site uses cookies and similar browser storage to keep your guest session signed in, remember settings like your language and chat mode, and understand how pages are used. Clearing your browser data ends the guest session on that device. Blocking all storage will stop the site from working properly.
When CamlooCam adds a feature or changes how it works, this page may change too. Check the date at the top of the page to see which version you are reading. If a change is significant, we will make it visible on the site before it takes effect.
